Homing and Slaved Axis
« on: March 31, 2009, 05:52:16 AM »
Hi,
I am having problems homing my slaved X axis. I have set it up with A axis and changed A axis to linear.
I am using Refcombination(9) as the command to home.
Lockdown version R3.042.202
What happens is it homes the X axis as it should but no movement at all from A axis once X is homed. Also all the limits are disabled when this is done and I have to hit reset, then rest again to activate the limits. I have skewed the gantry to make sure A axis is not leading X to the limits and no difference.
Obviously I have checked and rechecked the settings but can't see the obvious yet.
I have attached my xml file and would really appreciate somebody helping me with this.
thanks,
Rod

Greg was very helpful running through various combinations and looking at my xml file but it was never resolved.
I put it down to a bug in Mach3 but are in hope it will be fixed.
Let me know if you find a fix.

Slaved axis homing works.  Lots of Mach users have it working fine.

Tell us what your problem is John.
