Weird unwanted circles
« on: March 21, 2009, 08:31:05 PM »
Hi,
I have just purchased Mach3 and at the same time I have purchased cut2D.
Now when I want to load a file to cut some parts,I see large circles in the display window of Mach3.
I then run the cut and the unwanted circles are part of the cut also.
Can someone please help me get rid of these unwanted circles please?
If it is any help,Iam cutting a series of 10 rectangles and each circle seams to join the next rectangle.
 Thanks in advance.
 Jason

I used the great search function on here and found the answer.
I had to change the I J settings in gonfig.
 All appears good now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Woo Hoo!
 Time to try cutting again.

That search engine is how they keep us newbys busy without posting - and it works quite well! Someone would have kicked in though to be sure.

Your post processor may be changed to post your code in 'absolute' since that is the default setting for most machines. Both absolute and incremental are equally useful in processing some types of parts to machine and you'll see and get used to using them. BUT - now you know about the "weird unwanted circles"  :o

Keep at it - these machines are full of surprises!

 Thanks Bill,
I was starting to get buyers remorse earlier today after spending close to $2000 AUD on my little Proxxon MF70 and software,Only to have those circles stop me from using it.
But that is cured now and Iam glowing with pride after playing all afternoon drawing and making some small RC helicopter parts.
It is good to know there is help here as needed.
 Regards Jason. ;D
