Lazy Cam File Save Type
« on: February 23, 2009, 03:54:01 PM »
I am using Mach3 and LazyCam on our waterjet.
I need to change a project that we did several months ago. I only have the .job files or G-Code files. I can open the file in Mach3 and then open Lazy Cam and import the file, but can only save it as .Lcam.
Our design work is done in Flexi 8 and posted with EnRounte. I need to get the file back to a type that Flexi will understand, so that I can mae some changes to it. I can no longer find the original Flexi files that we did when the original piece was done, so reverse engineering the .job file is the only way. Or does anyone know of a convertor from G-Code to .dxf, .dwg etc? Or .Lcam to any of these file types?

Thanks
Darrell

Hi, Darrell

Post your G-code file, I think I have a program that will convert it back to dxf.

Here are the files, Chip. Any format that Flexi8 can open will work for me.
They had .job extension and I changed to .txt for this upload.

Thanks
Darrell
