« on: February 17, 2009, 11:27:59 PM »
Just finished this dash for a custumers Dodge Dart. The base is .125 Alum plate.
The gage tunnels were machined from solid bar stock, welded in, and all finished bored.
Engraving programed in feature cam.

Brett,

A bigger picture ??????????
Would you like me to send you the dash ??????;D

The person I made the dash for was talking about clear powder coat , but I would prefer anodized.

Engine turning it would look awesome too! Kinda like the old Firebird dash is. He gonna powder coat the rest? Are you going to make the knobs also? Some engine turned knobs would put a bit of glitz in it without going overboard. How much time you rekon you have in it? Looks awesome Ed, super job!

I worked on this dash for approx 2 weeks, in between other things. He is going to use the original knobs from his Dodge Dart.
The heater control was machined from a 1" thick Alum block , fitted in the opening from the back side and welded in.

Yes , engined turned would look good , but it's not mine.
Theres' more pics on my photobucket link, BRETT.

If the rest of the Dart looks as good as the dash it will really be something. Good work Ed.
