Bleeding edge
« on: February 13, 2009, 02:04:50 PM »
I appear to be on the bleeding edge of mach control. I am using the latest version with smoothstepper with a pendant on lpt2, SoundLogic breakout and homann designs digispeed and ModIO. Everything was working until I threw in smoothstepper. I now get a change in the DRO readout in MACH when I jog but no pulses to the gecko 320's.  I know its a smoothstepper problem but what? I am using SoundLogics pins, all of the lights on smoothstepper act as they should. Mach is communicating with smoothstepper.

Have a look in the SS Data monitoring and see if there are any flags.

I looked at that application but I saw that only pins above 10 are shown on port 1. I am using port 1 but lower pins. Is there a help file?

No help file other than the very basic manual.
That is Inputs only there so on Port 1 pins 1 to 9 are outputs.
Make sure you have the cable connected to the right port and if you have made up your own cables make sure you have them to the right pins.
