featurecam post issues
« on: January 30, 2009, 02:39:32 PM »
Hey all my first post here so here goes it.

I'm switching from rhinocam v1 to featurecam but i'm unable to generate usable code using the same part i did in rhinocam.

I tried using every fanuc post processors in featurecam but i keep getting the same errors everytime. "unknown g code line *********"

what am i doing wrong?

Hi,

post a section of the g-code that is giving the error, then we will be able to help.

HAVE you tried them other than looking at them??  I see a difference in the G43 H1 call  It appears the post is using G45 H1 instead.

I have used other fanuc posts before in other programs and mach ran fine. SEEMS you need to contact FeatureCAM about a post.  Or learn to modify one for  your own use ???

Just a thought, (;-) TP
