Toolpath Display offset
« on: July 20, 2006, 08:25:07 AM »
Hi,
When I run a program in mach 3 it displays the path in the graphics window as the cutter moves. Quite a lot of the time however this is offset compared to the "loaded" toolpath.

It does not seem to cause any problems with the work but is very disturbing to look at the cutter display not following the path !!!

Does anyone have any ideas. Could it be something to do with setting the zero locations ?

No just line and arc cuts.

Have you maybe moved an axis and zeroed it and not regenerated the toolpath?

I had a similar problem & I was told to push/click on the Regen button, under the disply, (before the next file or rerun.  That brought back the display to be on track for the next file/cut.
Later.
