Brett,

The thing looks like new. What do you have to do with it?   how big of chuck?

Thanks Ed, it is an oldie goldie tape reader. I want to get down to the ways and screws and see what they look like. It only has a 10 inch swing but it seems to ba a rigid little machine. Foot print is 4 1/2 feet by 8 feet and weighs 6500 Lbs. I'll be gutting it all and starting from scratch on the controls. Hopefully all the switches, motors, selonoids are good. I should be able to install a flat screen, PC, Smooth stepper, couple of BOB's, PLC for additional IO, and new motors and drives for the axis. I may have enough of that stuff allready.

Hood, at your age, you never know. Hope you last at least that long though.

What a great looking toy, that, no doubt will be fun.

Looks like something out of the Jetsons.   :)
