BOBCAD CAM INFO!
« on: January 07, 2009, 06:52:53 AM »
Hello, I have Bobcad Cam V21 software that came with a scorpion ez-router. What type of mdf cabinet door software is compatable with v21? I want the door designs to be in the software so all I have to do is add dimensions. Is this possible? Any help or advice is very appreciated!

Thanks, Darrel

Most design software will output IGES or DXF these file formats, these can be read into BobCAD and a toolpath generated.

I doubt you'll find a door program that works with BobCAD, unless it just exports .dxf files. How about this?

There are plenty of commercial door software packages that will export g-code directly. You shouldn't need BobCAD for making doors.
