Hi, maybe you could put some M1 codes in your program, randomly include somewhere in your code and when you want to stop, just hit M1 enable button.

If M1 optional stop is not enable, M1 will be ignore.

I don't know if this what you're looking for.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Mach did again!

When using run from here, I always use single block and TO GO distance, I do not trust run from here either.

If the distance from stock is say .500 inch and DRO show 2.000 inches, I know that there is a problem.

TO GO button is my best friend.

As I said, be sure to remove your Mach3 folder, else your profile will be kept.

Did you completely remove the mach3 folder before reinstalling Mach again.

Be sure to write down the right parallel port address.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Losing Steps?

Maybe you could try to increase the step and direction time in uS, try with 5uS.

Also is they're some number after 5368 steps per inch, try to put a couple of decimals after dot.

Thanks for the reply Sam.

English is not my primary language so sometime I have trouble understanding some English expressions.

Thanks to clarify.

One is for pulse length , from 1 to 5 micro second

This will depend on your electronic connected to the parallel port ,  some breaker boards need longer pulse than other, if your system is working with this setup, don't change anything, for me, I had to increase pulse duration because I was loosing step.

The step direction is same thing, this is the pulse length in micro second, if you use kind of slow electronic, they will need a longer pulse to activate.

And please, type with the Cap off
