Title: Lua Editor Crashing
Post by: Overloaded on May 05, 2014, 07:38:50 AM
 :)
Been studying Lua using online tutorials and script examples including some of those in M4.

EVERY time I debug/step through the scripts in the editor, upon completion, there's a pop up that says "..... encountered a problem and needs to close" and the editor shuts down. Every time. Any script. All compile w/no errors. Just crashes after last line.
Something I need to do to correct ?

Thanks,
Russ

That happened a LOT in the early versions have not seen it lately.  Lua is very sensistive to a rock head like me telling it to do things that it does not understand(;-). Made good sense to me BUT LUA did not have a sense of HUMOR ?

Russ, are you running XP or any other 32 bit OS?  Just curious...

Thanks TP,
Brian's Bolt Hole Wizard cycles through OK ... the 3 M4 macro's, as well as anything I compose crashes.
Must be me, just tryin' to get a better  (beginning) understanding.
Much to learn, back later.
Russ
