OK Sam spill the beans - How did you get that much swarf from one little engraving ?
That was a little trick I tried to mimic from the many hours of watching David Marks "Wood Works" show. At the end of the show, he would always show the final project with wood chips scattered about.
What really peaks my interest, is how much detail a person could get into that part if it were anodized and dyed black, and you had, say, I dunno....a cnc laser or something.
If I could somehow justify the cost, I would most definitely like to have one!
My friend wanted an Apache helicopter engraved, but there was just no way to put that much detail into it, and still look halfway decent.
Rich, I am indeed wanting to do some inlay work, but as most things, just can't seem to make the time for it. It is on the "list", however. Nice job you done.
