I bought a pci express tp lpt convertor for my laptop
and my problem is how i can Declare my port to mach3?
and read this to understand me:

Your pic shows a screenshot of a USB device, that is not the parallel port, or if it is, then it is a USB to parallel adapter you have and I dont think that will work.

Now regarding a laptop, some work, some dont, modern ones with their power saving are more likely not to work.

but its my express card (express cards send and receive in with serial )
so the laptop know them as usb
but if u saw the video you saw he express card

It must show up as an LPT port in device manager to get the port address. If it only appears as a USB port, then it won't work.

That appears to be an express pcie card for laptops they are very similar to the old pcmcia cards in that they can replicate a LPT port exactly.

To do that they use a driver to imulate the lpt and must be called AS an lpt .

I would assume that once the driver is installed the PC should see it as a lpt port???

What does the device manager show it as ? what is its address?

SO do you have the driver installed ?
