hi Tweakie, thanks, but I am confused. this image is a snapshot of a video clip of an industial design student making a wood bowl using some sort of cad program and a cnc machine. I was wondering if anybody recognised the program he was using from the snapshot of the interface. thanks

hi Guys, thanks so much. yes it is Rhino. now to download the evaluation version and get cracking.
Does anybody know where I can find some good tutorials on to get started. Also, is it only a CAD program or can one transfer the item created directly to G code and then to Mach 3?

thanks again

Rhino itself is CAD but there are addons that will interface with it to do CAM, RhinoCAM being one.
