Re: Jogging & feedrate troubles (Mach 3 Mill)

Hi all
Am a bit new to the CNC game and have recently aquired a large format machine that is not running quite as i want it to; maybe someone can assist please?
Subject line refers; yesterday after many restarts the machine was running at 6000mm\m and cutting long spline toolpaths (Cutting a 3D pattern) without any sweat or much jerking, today after the start I could not get it to do the same. Overriding the feed rate to 200% from a 2400 baseline shows the increased speed in the 'F' DRO, but this is not reflected in the actual speed DRO; it maxes out at between 600-800mm\m. I suspect it has to do with the CV Mode, but am not able to use the CV button on the program run screen; have looked under the settings screen but no luck so far; am I missing something obvious? I would like to get out of what seems to be the 'exact' cutting mode; am running a roughing program for a 3D pattern and accuracy is not that critical.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can you attach your xml and the code you are running, you will need to either zip them or you will need to rename your xml before you can attach to the forum. To attach use the additional options button on the reply page.

Your xml is set to Exact Stop as default and your code has not got a G64 in it so it will run in Exact Stop. Best to put a G64 at the beginning of the code and probably also best to change the default to G6 (Constant Velocity), yo can do that on General Config page.

G6 (Constant Velocity)
It should be G64 (Constant Velocity)
