Hi,

I have a Tormach PCNC 1100 running on Mach3. I have a computer in the house that has Mach3 loaded on it. I use the house computer to prerun the programs and if I like them I put them on USB stick and take them out to the garage and do the machining.

I just tried to do this tonight and when i loaded the Mach3 I got a blank screen. Anybody have an idea what might be wrong?

Thanks,

          Ernie

Hi Ernie,

Are you saying that Mach did not load on your garage PC or that the program from the memory stick did not load ?

Do you mean it doesn't load the screenset? I've noticed that the latest version takes longer to load the screenset than earlier versions, but it does do it after a few seconds. I'm wondering if your XML has become corrupted and points at a non-existant screenset OR your screenset has gone awol.

what happens if you do a view / load screen and browse for a screenset?

Hi,

It would not load the screen set. I finally went to view, load screens and chose the screen set for my mill PCNC 1100 and it loaded. It has been loading fine ever since. I got the tip on how to do this on another forum.

Thanks,

It was either CNCZONE or Practical Machinist. Both are very good and I visit them every day.

Thanks Tweakie - If you're bored, this might amuse you http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,18390.0.html. Sometimes I do wonder why I bother.
