having trouble with mach3 with cutter comp taking affect,i am using tool 1 with cutter radius in tool table (R.187 IN TOOL DIAMETER)
on the main screen shows tool 1 and shows cutter radius but when running program tool goes to center line of cutter
and does not compensate for tool radius.

example program milling inside pocket

G17 G20 G40 G80 G90
T1M6(.375 endmill)

The D parameter should reflect the tool number.

Try D1

i just tried and it worked fine
i guess i just had d32 stuck in my head from the fanuc controls
at work .

D is the tool # who'd diameter you're using for the comp.
