Hi I am about to purchase a Probe from Arnie,  can anyone point me in the right direction for the best software to use with the Probe. Also a bit confused as to the procedure in using the probe, does the software automatically reference the sides of the component you want to probe etc. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

So far there is NOT a generic software package to do the job.

There are MANY macros and  no wizards that I am aware of, and SOME screensets that do certain probing functions BUT not a total generic package that is used with Mach.

Sorry, Probing has not gotten that far in Mach yet.

You might want to take a look at the MachStdMill screen set - it includes built in support for many common probing operations
