The timing required is very low since the drivers are full step rather than microstep, but that is all we need at this time (6,000 steps/second but the pins need to stay high or low all the time between the steps). I'm including the port pin assigments for the MAXNC drivers. The most inportant feature nedded is the input on pin 10 that suspends the sequence of pulses from the software temporarily in case the motors are unable to keep up. This input needs to be sensed at every step with a timeout that will take into an error state (in case one motor is stalled). Let me know if this is possible.
