Hi everyone,

We are going to be taking the forum down for an upgrade at 12:00am EST on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.  The forum will be in Maintenance Mode and unavailable while the upgrade (and subsequent reinstallation/reconfiguration of packages) is going on.  Expected downtime is 2-4 hours (depending on how many unexpected "features" are encountered...  ).

It appears that the operation was successful (or at least not obviously, horribly screwed up...  )

If I did miss something, please reply to this thread and I'll see what I can do to fix it...

(edit:  I have also deleted everybody who was Awaiting Activation - 99.999% were bogus accounts.  If I have accidentally deleted any accounts from legitimate people who had not yet activated it, I apologize...

also, the forum seems to load slower now on some systems for an unknown reason - my desktop renders the pages slower, but my laptop has not experienced that problem and loads them as fast as usual (Firefox 3.0.3 on both).  I'm not sure there's anything I can do for that...)
