DRO's way out when re-starting
« on: October 12, 2008, 03:11:01 PM »
I've got Persistent DROs checked in General Config, but when I re-start Mach, they're consistently 5000-6000 mm out.  Am I missing something?

Hi Sheldon,
In Mach Mill open the Diagnostics Alt 7 screen as that will show you what your current position is made up of.
You may need to change one of the offsets. With Persistent DRO's checked you should get the same values displayed
when Mach's restarted as when it was closed down.

I have had this problem for a year and a half now..  Yes, persistant dros are checked.  Its always a few hundred inches out on the restart.  I wonder if it may be a symptom of my closed loop plug-in.
