Touch Screens
« on: December 12, 2005, 07:44:59 PM »
Hi All,

can anybody tell me if Mach3 is compatable with touch screens, the one I have is a 15" with the touch output on the RS232.

I know I am all questions at the moment but things will change.

Thanks

Graham.

Hi Graham:

I know of severla using them. Usually, touch screen have a driver that reports touches as mouse clicks, therefore any program is compatable with them in that case.
Sometimes though, its best to make a screen whcih is a bit friendlier to the touchscreen, though from what Ive seen, the standard screens will work..

Which screen are you using, any special programming?

Thanks,

Hi,

I use a CTX touch 35, 15" part number PV500.

No special programming just plugged it in and everything worked.
