No that is probably the driver test that is included with the lockdown version which I presume you are using. Try the special driver, you will find it in the Mach 3 folder, just double click on it and then try the drivertest again.

Thanks Hood, but...

Just did that and ran the drivertest and it said, "installed, reboot" I rebooted.

I ran drivertest and when it "took over" I get nothing in the output window.

I ran Mach3 and set the spindle to PWM and now the Base freq is staying at 5000, so that's some sort of progress.

I have checked the Help pdf and that has not helped. This is an new computer with 2.4G core 2 duo, 2G memory, award BIOS and APIC shows as detected in the test. I am using win2000 Pro.

Have a look in device manager and see if the pulse engine is installed there.

To make matters worse, when I clicked Exit from the dead drivertest,it is still attached to something as I am getting a serieds of momentary delays in windows minimizing. I will have to reboot damn it.

It takes about two seconds and 20 jumps to minimize any window.

GGrrrr.

Yep and nope but I am just going ;D
Well certainly seems like its installed, just for kicks try double clicking the normal driver (in Mach3 folder again) and see if it works this time.
