Yes, definitely worth reporting, I will probably go back to 3.041 if I have any code I cant stand over but for now I want to play with the SS so I will stick with 3.043 if possible, so far its looking good, have a few problems but nothing serious so far :)
Greg has a winning product in the SS, just glad it came along at the right time for my lathe :)

Hi, Bill

There is another issue also, Goes back quite awhile.

If you load a file with larger Program Extents and then load a smaller file, The Program Extents don't update properly, Needing an additional Regen for a proper size view, Smaller to bigger works fine.

In 3.042.004, Looks like Program Extents is using/picking up the Arc in N200 G3  X0.2156  Y-0.0004  I0.2845  J-0.0004 in some way.

In Lathe Mode, The Stock Size with Front Tool Position selected, Isen't displaying properly eather.

Just little issues to deal with, Tool Path View is on a list for update, I Think !.

Chip

thanks for the info Chip. I loaded 42.04 on the machine today and did some actual cutting. I could tell what Hood was talking about. even though the part did not look right on the screen it ran the numbers well.
setting up SS now and going to play with that a little bit.

thanks bill

Hey Brian,

With regards to this
4.)Review the 4th Axis CV and feedrate code to be suer there are no
other typos

Does this mean that the future will have my tangental setup A axis running with CV.

I have seen a video on you tube with a tangetal water jet running with Mach3. It got me excited so I spent the day cutting circles and tweeking motor tuning etc. Using the smooth stepper my max feed rate is 5000mm/min with it stopping after each line segment.

Please tell me that you will be looking at this ;D

We I gave the new rev a run tonight.

Did not see any major differences in the way the tangential A axis operated.

One bug however was that the A Axis rotated prior to the Z being lifted on the move to the next cut. It still seems that the A axis in Tangential mode is running in exact stop.

Brain what changes in this rev was made that may make the A axis run in CV
