NFS question

Brian when using the circular pocket, is the spiral suppose to be symetrical in nature? When I cut a pocket the spiral comes out very wobbly in nature, the overlap is from 10% to 90% at times until it gets out to the finish cut and then it is a perfect circle. Terry Parker

Hi Terry:

I belive this is the math of the tool making sure it is at a % of tool diamter over the previous path, This is done to give a better finish to the end circle..

The arcs that are making the cut is not a true spiral... Atrue spiral would have to be a bunch of VERY small moves:) As for the % tool Dia ... it is going to change a bit from the start to the end due to the fact that you can't start the cut without taking 100% of the tool.

Hope that helps just a little.
Thank you
Brian
