Multi Pass Wizard

There is a new video for multi pass to help you learn to use it. I you would like to comment on the wizard and or ask for changes in how the wizard functions.
Here is the link to the video:

Thank you for your input

Hello Brian,
I tested the wizard, and it started making some weird moves, the toolpath looks fine, but when you run it, it just runs a small part of it,
Is this an evaluation version?
Im uploading the gcode file, the settings I used with the multipass wizard are:
X-shift 0
Yshift 0
Feedrate plunge 20
feedrate cut 50
rapid height .25
step depth .125
Deptch .5
Regards
Fernando

This file is very close to 1000 lines :) 1000 lines is the Max amount that you can run in the DEMO mode. If you try  smaller file it should work great.

Hope that helps

Thanks Brian,
A post from art on the yahoo group mislead me to think it was a complete version
Quote:
"Thanks to Brian for the great explanation (ande the wizard itself, which
the newfangled guys have released as a free general release). Great video,
if you do multipass, watch it...your onscreen buttons will soon be past
history... :-)"

Mach3 is what is stopping the multi pass from working Not me :) If you are not in DEMO mode in Mach3 it should work great for that file... (it did here).

Hope that helps

I am a licensed user for mach 3,
Ill attach the posted code, and a screenshot of what the toolpath looked like when simulated, I dont know if the problem is that i am basing this error on a simulation of the toolpath rather than an actual cycle run.
thanks
Fernando

Apparently that was the problem
It doesnt like running in simulation, but it works fine on a cycle run.
Sorry for the inconvenience :)
