Mach Pendant Kit
« on: May 20, 2008, 09:02:45 PM »
Hi All,

For anyone who has been after a affordable hand-held pendant, yet have more functionality than just a MPG in a box, have a look at the Kit Pendant I've been developing. The plan is to provide enough information, so that people can put it together themselves with a minimum of external help.

The thread is on the CNC Zone at;

Cheers,

Peter.

Looks good Peter. Any idea of what the complete kit will cost? I think this will be very popular.

Hi Brett,

Haven't looked at the cost yet. The major individual components are;

  • ModIO
  • LCD
  • MPG

Some will want to use bits thay already have etc. The one I'm putting together is a prototype to guage what is involved. If there is enough of a demand, I go a specific ModIO variant that suits the enclosure better,etc.

Cheers,

Peter.

VERY Nice work Peter!!!

Looking forward to the completed product.

Derek Ashburn "Hill Billy", made one kinda like yours, he showed at the Mach convention. He was using your board and the LCD. It was a BIG hit.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the kind words. Last night I finished the hardware, so it's now on to the MacroPump. That should be fun, NOT.

Below is a pic of the finished Pendant excluding the labelling of the controls.

Cheers

Peter
