Glass Scale Displayed on DRO

Is there a way to display the glass scale readout on the X,Y, and Z DRO fields on the main screen?

are you meaning you have linear glass scales (such as  a DRO would use) and you want these to display in DROs on the main page? If yes then its easy enough to add DROs with Screen4 which is the screen design software for Mach, you should find it in the Mach3 folder.

Thanks for your help.  I didn't realize Screen4 was available.  It worked perfectly.

Will mach "listen" to the scales or keep going by what it thinks is the correct position?

No they are just for reference, you could probably write a Brain to look at the Glass scale DRO and the Machine CoOrds DRO and have it fault Mach if a chosen difference was present.
You can also buy a board from www.rogersmachine.net that interfaces an encoder with Mach and will fault out if a user set following error is reached.
