setting up input signals
« on: March 25, 2008, 01:19:10 PM »
I have a question, i watched the tutorial video on setting up the inputs. I enabled X++ and X-- and assigned pin #'s 10 and 11 as in the tutorial, I have them set to active low. Then when I go to the diagnostics screen, the M1--Limit LED is on, when I reset the led stays on. According to the video, setting to active low was supposed to fix or turn off the led. When I go to settings the Override Limits LED is flashing red. I can't change that one by clicking on it, or turn off the yellow LED limit switch indicator. What should I do? The video didn't get into that.

on the printer set up window of mach the Port adress is 0x378. When I go to port properties  there is no resources tab. I did see on the general tab Location 513{PCI EPP/ECP Parallel port 1}. Do I need to change the 378 to 513?

hmmm  anyone know how to find the I/0 port adress on windows pro? The tab that is shown in the video is not on the parallel port properties window.
