Denford Orac Lathe
« on: March 10, 2008, 01:20:11 AM »
I am a user of mastercam X2 educational version and I am currently enrolled in a CAM class at my high school. My teacher just got a new Denford Orac Machine and wants to test it out but hasn't had any free time in the last week because he also teaches other classes. We have not yet been able to write a simple program because we have not learned it as we just got the machine and just finished setting it up yesterday. i am wondering if anybody is willing to let us use a short program that you have written in G-code in order to test our new machine or let me use a post processor that writes the correct code for the lathe. We don't want it to be that big so please limit diameter to 2 or 3 inches, length no more than 5.

Thank you very much if you can help me.

Hi Bill,

sorry to say the Orac is a lathe, I don't think your code V-Carving is any use to them.
