Invert Z Axis
« on: June 28, 2007, 08:44:25 AM »
Good Afternoon,

I have finally set up my CNC machine and got most of it working.

Problem is I go to run a program of G Code and for some reason even though when drilling a hole the GCode reads say -2.00, my motor actually turns the wrong way and go up instead of down.

How can I tell mach to invert the Z Axis and it is currently upside down I guess.

Many thanks
James

Hey James,
Go to config, homing/limits and check the reverse axis for your z.

Thank you!  I was having problems with this exact same issue on the machine that I bought.  Now it works great!
