I have a New Hermes Vanguard 8000 and want to convert to Mach3.  It is currently running DOS directly off the PC controller card, not through an EP module.  What are the pinouts that you used on the 6000?  The 8000 is not a standard DB25, but a longer connector.  What Campbell board did you use and what cabling configuration?  I am totally new to CNC, but have strong PC and machining abilities.  My goal is to cut balsa, plywood, carbon fiber sheets and aluminum for RC cars and airplane parts.  The machine currently uses 11/64" carbide cutters or end mill.  They offer a collett spindle for $394 + $136 each for the collets to go to 1/8", 11/64" or 1/4".
