Cheap steppers, get them while you can.

These seem like a bargain http://www.interinar.com/

Before any quick fingers report this post as advertising, I have nothing to do with the company, nor do I know anything about them. I am just hilighting a bargain, to fellow CNCers.

The Pythagorean theorem: The sum of the areas of the two squares on the legs (a and b) equals the area of the square on the hypotenuse (c).     a² + b² = c².

Hi Benny,
I got the email from them too. I bought some stuff from them and everything worked fine. Great support too.
When I first took an interest in motion control, before I met Mach, I bought a package of 2 drivers and 2 NEMA 17 from them for $35 if I remember right. I then bought a Picaxe micro controller to generate the pulse streams.
It all worked quite well....AMAZED me.  It got me started anyway and put me on the right track.
Then Mach took over......thank goodness.
My first Mach lathe used 2 of their BSD-02 drivers.

It DOES look like a cherry deal although they are quite small.
I am not affiliated either....just a satisfied customer.

Thanks for the feedback RC, How do you think they would go on a mill? Too small?

Hi Benny,

I would think they might be too small for a Taig but a Sherline might be a good candidate -  :)

Hi Benny,
Like Dave said...may be OK on the very smallest mills with light cuts.
Depending on the gearing of course.
