Looking for help with determining steps to load into moch 3 mill

I have built a CNC router with half inch lead screws, 10 tpi 2 starts. I am wondering if someone can help me to figure the number of steps to run moch 3 mill. I don't know how 2 starts into the formula. My lead screws are directly connected to the stepping motors which are 200 steps, 1.8 degrees. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Glen,
10 tpi / 2 starts = effective pitch of 5
Full step..... 200 x 5 = 1000
Half step.... 400 x 5 = 2000
1/4 step.....800 x 5 = 4000
1/8 step...1600 x 5 = 8000 pulses per unit. (unit = inch)
I hope this helps,
good luck with your project.
