Legacy Syil X5 with Hicon 7754 controller
« on: March 26, 2026, 12:56:18 PM »
Hi, I would like to know if the last release of the drivers for this Hicon 7754 controller are available somewhere, I have to do a full reinstall and dont have the provided drivers from 10 years ago.

I had this link but it no longer works: http://www.vitalsystem.com/portal/motion/hicon/hicon_integra/Mill3Axis-Integra.zip

Thanks a lot in advance

If anyone has the files and can attach them to a reply I will greatly appreciate it. Tried the wayback machine archive but vitalsystems requested to be excluded from it.

Received this reply from the company which is contradictory regarding the files needed...
"Sorry I cannot find the old document.  We do have the old plugins and firmware and some mach4 screens.  They are available for purchase on as-is basis without any warrantee or support.  If you like to purchase them, you can buy the Bronze support package and will email you the files."

I replied if the files are available without support but got no reply yet.

Thanks a lot

You may be able to use the Current HiCON integra plugin and Firmware, however, you may have too big of a jump in FW and may need to relicense your hardware through Vital. I would recommend reaching out to Vital Systems for help in regards to this issue.
Thanks,

Paul

It took me a lot of work but managed to recover all the mach3 and mach4 files for the hicon 7754, even managed to create a fully functional XML for the Syil X5 Servo for mach3 that can be used as a starting point for mach4.

Below is the link to the ZIP file that Includes everything needed to establish a communication between the 7754 and mach3 or mach4. This also includes version 3.24 and 3.40 of the firmware. (file is too large to be attached to this post)

Thanks to everyone but the OEM that decided this should be only obtainable via payment when at the time was freely downlodable. They even asked the internet archive to remove the files...
