Limit Switch Light

I'm a real newbie and am building a CNC router. I just completed the build process and am running my first job.  It did not go well.  But that's another story.  Right now I'm trying to figure why my M2++ limit light won't go out? I used 'Manual OverRide Limit' in Settings to move all the axis incase they were touching limit switches. Light stays on.  I finally unwired the limit switches from controller card and hooked up a temp limit switch that's attached to no axis. The temp limit switch works but still the light won't go out.  Any thoughts in what I did wrong?
