Mach4 Lathe weird toolpath
« on: January 31, 2024, 12:26:25 PM »
Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out the different Gcode command on a retrofitted EmcoTurn120. I'm trying to cut an internal profile as shown in the picture below. I wrote the Gcode below but I get very strange toolpaths when i run this on the lathe. It refuses to cut the arc's as I've designed them. It just takes of in the complete other direction. I've tried altering the G2/G3 commands, and changed the setting on the machine to absolute mode but I still can't get the proper toolpath. Any help on this problem is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

somewhere in cofigation general you can switch IJ Mode absulute and incremental
anything is possible, just try to do it.
if you find some mistakes, in my bad bavarian english, they are yours.
