Is it possible to fly the laser without stopping and turn it on and off on coordinate data. Like a typical laser engraving machine? I have a mach4 Hobby.

Yes, it is supported on some motion controllers like the Ethernet SmoothStepper.

To date the Warp9TD ESS is the only motion controller that supports raster engraving with Mach4.
