HiCon EC Absolute homing
« on: September 17, 2022, 12:21:14 PM »
I am trying to set up my new CNC with Servos using HiCon EC. I have the motors working and I am now trying to make homing working by using the absolute encoders on my servos. I'd like for my machine to home to a defined position and mark the axis as homed.

Is there any way I can make that happen?

Thanks in advance!

You can enable home in place in Mach4. As shown in the attachment.

After you have homed your machine using the drives you can simply use the homing Gcode or home button in Mach4 screen to home the machine in place. The machine will not move but will home itself at the current position it is in.
