Error installing latest Mach3 Version
« on: October 19, 2007, 06:42:17 PM »
Hi, Having a bit of a problem installing the latest version of Mach3.

I am running Win2k sp4 and have recently had to do a full wipe and install Win2k, I have installed Mach3 and driver, rebooted of course and get the blue screen of death. After a couple of these I logged to safe mode and disabled the mach3 pulse engine then rebooted sucessfully and then startup Mach.
I get the splash screen and then an error box that states "ERROR FOUND ART CODE; 4, ATTEMPT RECOVERY."

I then click either yes or no and get a box that states "ERROR STOPPED TIMER".

Has anyone had this problem or do these things just happen to me? lol

Suggestions appreciated.

Cheers

Ok, I've got a bit further with it, I realised I have an on board audio which should be disabled as I have an audio card fitted. So I disabled the audio in bios and removed Mach3 from computer. It then booted with BSOD, (STOP:0X00000022) . After a couple of F8's into safe mode I managed to get back into Windows proper. I then downloaded Mach3 again just incase I had a duf download. I then installed Mach3 and finally now I have the Mach engine loaded ok.

When starting Mach3 I still get the error msgbox as above.

Now i'm stumped. I've no alerts in hardware manager and the computer is running fine apart from Mach3.
