Homing a TAIG3000DSLS
« on: September 26, 2021, 04:13:35 PM »
Howdy, folks!

New member, second post (first is in the 'welcome' section), looking for a quick answer.

I just bought and assembled a TAIG 3000DSLS w/ 4th axis, installed the .DLL and their profile, and their instructions say to hit the 'home all' button, but nothing happens.  I'm able to jog all the axes, but the homing just doesn't work.  My previous machine (a MaxNC 15CL) would travel to the limits, 'bounce' off the switch twice and zero.  Not working on my TAIG.  Can someone help?

Thanks in advance!

Post your XML file so we can see the setting and work out what is going on.

You have no home switches set up in your ports & pins that is why its not homing

Graham, thanks so much for your help.  I was able to reach the TAIG folks and we got it sorted out.  Everything is working now.  Just waiting for some new tooling so I can get started!

Be prepared for more inane questions.   :o
