Mach 3 Skipping Code
« on: September 30, 2021, 06:15:24 AM »
Hello,

I'm hoping someone will be able to help us with an issue we are experiencing with our CNC.

We are using V-Carve to produce the drawings and Mach 3 to run the CNC. It has been cutting well up until now... for some unknown reason it is intermittently skipping the first 20 lines of G-Code and therefore not starting spindle. I've tried entering start from line 0 etc which used to do the trick but now that isn't working. It seems to be triggered by the zeroing functions and reset button to which line 20 appears in the box under "run from here".

The code is there and visible but Mach 3 seems to skip it. The rest of the code works perfectly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Perhaps post your problem Gcode then we can take a look and hopefully suggest a solution to the problem.

Thanks for your response Tweakie.

I have attached a screenshot of the G-Code.

What confuses me most, is that it wont work for a couple of runs and then it will suddenly kick in and work even though its the same code.
