« on: May 06, 2021, 02:09:16 PM »
good evening everyone
can anyone tell me which is the best lathe control board that supports the encoder on the threading spindle, is mach4 compatible and has 4 axes?
how about POKEYS 57 CNC?

Hi,
I don't know for sure but I don't think the 57CNC supports encoder lathe threading.

The Ethernet SmoothStepper does.

Mach4 has up to six coordinated axes (with up to four slaves on each axis) and up six to Out-of-Band axes, again with up to four slaves
an each.
