so, ive got a big ol mill and im rebuilding the CNC portion for, uh, reasons...

ive decided to go with closed loop servos capable of running on "step" and "direction" inputs, while providing encoder feedback to whatever controller for the elimination of thousands in scales...

this is the problem im having: i can find a plethora of controllers/ break out boards that can give these servos step and direction signals, but none that i can find seem capable of reading from the motors encoder. also, im having trouble figuring out what hardware i need to translate outputs from mach4 to the controller/BOB and/or outputs from the encoder to mach

help?
