ShuttlePro V2 with Mach4 build 4612
« on: April 05, 2021, 09:47:19 AM »
Since updating Mach4 to build 4612 the inner wheel of my ShuttlePro V2 has not worked properly. It produces erratic jogs no matter what the step, mode or jog rate is set to. The outer wheel works fine. I cannot see any obvious difference in settings between build 4612 and the previous build I was using (4300). If I switch back to the earlier build it still works properly.

Any ideas anyone?

Month and a half with no answer, awesome!  For what it's worth, I've had what i and is the same issue myself.  While jogging with theinner MPG wheel it randomly decides to move an inch, instead of my set half thou, in either direction.  I've also noticed it occasionally will show an inch change in the DRO output, but actually only moved the .0005 that it was supposed to.  At this point the inner wheel is completely useless.

I sent my query to ArtSoft via their support page. They have replied saying they will look into it and potentially issue a fix with the next update.

So i updated yesterday to the newest FTP version, that seemingly fixed the jogging issue as far as i could tell after running 4 or 5 programs.  But now the probing function seems to be broken.  When you input the distance to move and hit enter it reverts to whatever was there to begin with, so that killed probing.

same problem here with 4.2.0.4612...outer wheel works fine...inner wheel has random movements.
But I am using a ShuttleEXPRESS not the Pro.
