Upgrading Lazycam Pro
« on: October 02, 2007, 05:56:36 PM »
Hi Everyone,
I'm a new to CNC and Lazycam.  I have purchased Lazycam Pro and have been doing pretty well with it. My question is how do I upgrade?
Do I just download the latest release of Lazy and it will replace the older version or do I have to do something first or after? I hope this is not a stupid question.  If it is sorry, but I had to ask it anyway. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mike

Greetings Mike. What you've been doing is what I've been doing too. As another option, you could uninstall LazyCAM and delete all old files, and then reinstall the new version. That's probably a little safer of a method to ensure that nothing stays around from an older version, but I've just been installing the new and letting it replace the old. I haven't found a difference in the two methods yet.

Thanks for your comments. I think I'll do the same. Install the new and let it replace the old.
