Hi All

I am running machstdmill and am trying to find info on how to setup a ATC for my 8x4 table. MSM has a page setup for the Santa Cruz Engineering
Automatic Tool Changer. There is no documentation about the hardware required in the help section and after googling my brains out I cannot even find the company. Maybe it an Australian thing!
Does anybody have this system working or any other method I could learn from.

MSM is a third party screenset.

I couldn't  find anything there either

You just need to install MSM version 2.3.12 or later
from MSM release note.

M6PostATLO2 is called immediately after the ATLO tool measurement is completed but not until the spindle has returned to the TCP.

I have the latest software. It's the hardware that i cannot find any direction on.

If you have version of the MachStdMill that supports Santa Cruz ATC, then
you need to edit/Check your m6Start.m1s and M6End.m1s macros.
I think you just have to UNREM some lines of those macros.

Santa Cruz Engineering  should supply you the macros, if there are not already in your MACH3 profile.

Quite easily done.

Perhaps copy and print out those macros and others will be able to help you.
