Help need with a USB BSMCEO4U-PP Bitsensor
« on: August 12, 2020, 05:52:12 AM »
Hi all, I recently purchased a ebay 6040 CNCEST USB machine. I have tried to add a touch plate for the z axis however when i hook it up to in4 and ground and set the port to 3 and pin to 4 in mach 3 i do not get the led flash on digitize. Could this be down to a faulty board? Everthing else works its just this one issue im having. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
I have also attached images of our cnc6040 router, touch plate and board
Many thanks, Graham

Maybe your breakout board requires a pull up resistor. It should measure 5 volts with nothing connected. What is the number of your board?

Disregard my earlier post, I had assumed BSMCEO4U-PP was the number of the touch plate.
