When pushing left arrow X axis goes right
« on: August 06, 2020, 06:59:43 PM »
Greetings.  This is my first post. I am very new to this.

I have homed in the coordinates on my limit switches which are in the lower left as facing the machine, and the X axis coordinates are also backward on the screen, just for the X axis.  The X axis moves the opposite of the arrow buttons.

I would appreciate and thank you ahead of time for any help.

Let me clarify.  If I have my X axis all the way to my left, and zero it out, if I want to move to the right I have to push the left arrow key.  And the DRO gets larger as it moves right, but is identified as a negative number.

BTW, I am the owner of genuine Mach 3 software I purchased here.  I'm running the CNC with NVUM controllers.

Hi,

In Config, / Ports & Pins / Motor Outputs  change the 'Dir Low Active' state for your X axis.

Tweakie.
