Mach 3 on Windows 10
« on: July 24, 2020, 04:05:12 PM »
I have installed Mach 3 on a Dell Optiplex 760 running Windows 10 1709 build.  However I am unable to get the parallel port driver to install.
"No Driver sensed installed. Run Drivertest."  Running Drivertest.exe gets me the same message.

Can anyone help?

Last version of OS that Mach3 can run with parallel port is W7 32-bit.

Hi,
if you wish to use Windows10, or in fact any 64 bit OS, then you will have to use an external motion controller
like an ESS or a UC300. Avoid cheap Chinese made external motion controllers, they seldom work as advertised,
and often rely on the pirated Mach3 software that they provide to work at all.
